Job responsibilities:

Deliver speech-language therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals

Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations

Develop and implement treatment plans and IEPs

Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress

Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
Texas state requirements:
-
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
-
Active Texas Speech-Language Pathology License issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
-
Texas Education Agency (TEA) certification may be required for certain school placements
-
Must pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting as required by the Texas Education Code
